Meet Natasha Sudenis
Welcome to ONEhealth Counselling & Psychotherapy! As a registered psychotherapist (qualifying), I have acquired extensive training and experience in providing therapy to individuals and groups facing wide variety of issues, including "high functioning" anxiety amongst professionals, OCD, relational trauma and more. In addition to obtaining a master in Counselling Psychology and a graduate degree in Expressive Art Therapy (EXAT), I also have specialized certifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy (NT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Mindfulness-based interventions.
I don't believe therapy is here to "fix" you or that there is a final "destination" that you reach after years of therapy. Instead, its a continuous process of learning and discovery. Different environments, relationships, and situations can uncover different aspects of your wounding, and I view these as opportunities for continued insight rather than a sign of not being "healed".
I work from a trauma and nervous-system informed perspective, meaning my approach is embodied, strength-based, anti-oppressive, and relational. My interpersonal style is relaxed but direct, and individuals tend to connect with me quickly. My goal is to provide an emotionally safe, non-judgmental and spacious place to receive professional psychotherapy as you navigate your own unique life journey.
While I always tailor my approach to each person’s individual needs, it is always my goal to provide therapy in the most efficient way possible so that you can start to feel better and improve your quality of life.

Approach
You are not a diagnosis!
As a clinician, I focus on seeing the client as a whole person, not defined by their problems, and work to empower their growth, strengths, and intrinsic potential for transformation.
Evidence-Based
Benefit from evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a depth of experience in addressing various mental health concerns.
The body matters
Embodied practice in psychotherapy involves engaging the body’s sensations, movements, and physical presence as a way to explore and process emotions, thoughts, and experiences, fostering deeper awareness and healing
Context/Culture Matters
Context matters in therapy because our experiences and mental health are deeply influenced by sociopolitical, cultural, and systemic factors that shape our identities, opportunities, and well-being.
"Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself
I am large, I contain multitudes"
-Walt Whitman, Song of Myself
*Choosing the right therapist is important.
Don't hesitate to ask me questions. Remember, you are interviewing ME! And not every therapist can be the right fit.
